October...Breast Cancer Awareness...A photo a day...Sheila Livestrong Johnson-Glover
I don't even know where to begin. This young lady was God sent. I have continuously been blessed with individuals who volunteer to help me expound upon my vision as a photographer. I reached out to a few women to help me make my Breast Cancer Survivor project come to life. Ms. Livestrong Sheila Johnson-Glover was the only one who accepted my offer and was willing to allow me to photograph the emotion behind something some see as being "the end." After spending 4 hours with her that day, I received confirmation that the things I worry about and struggle with emotionally are minimal. Life is to be enjoyed to the fullest. Life is to be appreciated. Life is to be thankful to our ALMIGHTY GOD! Her purpose and desire to educate women on Breast Cancer is phenomenal. She devotes her time solely to that. On top of being a mommy, daughter, and survivor, she also served our country for 25 years. I could go on and on about the wonderfulness of Ms. Sheila! I just want to say that I am and will be forever grateful to God for blessing me with another forever friend like her. She's just one of those people that I've come across in my life and I thank God for (There aren't many). lol I hope you enjoy!
